Facebook friend etiquette? - freakykittygoddess - 03-17-2014 02:21 AM

What do you think? Let's say you wished a friend on Facebook a happy birthday, and several other people did, too. If the friend commented on everyone else's birthday post with "Thank you!!!" and "Thanks!", but they respond to your "Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day!" post with "Thank you....." what would you think? Would you think the person doesn't like you?
Well, I looked at some of the other posts after mine like someone said to, and she put exclamations on them. Oh well....who cares. Its not like she and I talk a lot anyways. I will probably just go ahead and delete her. She posts too much stuff about advertising for Mary Kay, anyways.

Yea, they do not like you.

Here is what you should do:
Tell them that you do not appreciate their tone, and that if they continue you will break their face, throw them in your trunk and dump them 200 miles from town.

I wouldn't sweat it. Honestly, people get about 50 happy birthday posts, and responding to all of them can get exhausting. If you're really curious, just comment with a smiley face after that and see what happens. Always assume the best Smile

Maybe that person realized they were saying the same thing over and over so they wanted to change things up a bit. Now, look at all the posts that are coming after yours, if they go back to the exclamation points, then yes, that person is sending a message, a not very nice one.

Add: Yeah, she sounds pretty rude and without class then. She could have said nothing but she really revealed herself as an ungrateful brat to say what she did. I say good riddance and delete her.

"Oh well....who cares. Its not like she and I talk a lot anyways."...You read my mind. Most "friends" on Facebook aren't friends at all. They are people, generally, who you don't know from Adam except for what you see on Facebook. That is not friendship. So it really doesn't matter.
