Facebook Security Check? - Handmaid - 03-17-2014 11:09 AM

Alright. So, when I went to log into my Facebook account it said:

'It looks like your account might not be real. Facebook is a community where people share and interact using their real identities.
Facebook does not allow accounts that:
Pretend to be someone else
Use a fake name
Don't represent a real person
In order to regain access to your account, please complete the following security check to verify your identity and help keep Facebook secure.''
No big deal. I enter the captcha, and now it gives me verification methods. However, the only one available is identifying photos of my friends. I tried it once, and failed. The problem is that I don't know who some people are (my friends don't necessarily have photos of themselves coming up tagged; it may be something like a group photo, or a pet picture, etc). I would honestly rather do phone verification. Is there any way to get back in, or do another method of verification? Or do I have to keep trying and hope I get lucky?

the reason they are asking you to identify your friends by name is because you broke the rules by adding people that you dont actually know in real life

there is no way around this check - it's a spam prevention measure, and you apparently did not read the rules that you agreed to when you signed up
