I do all of the steps when deactivating a time line, make the app then delete it. But it doesn't work. What do you need specifcally in the app in order to disable the time line? Or can it just be any random app?

The timeline isn't an app; it's something that replaces the wall. And, it can't be removed because it's a new update.
