Why don't people acknowledge those from their past who's gotten better looking over time? - Beer Farts - 03-17-2014 05:38 PM

You see it all the time on social media.

When you see someone from your past (say an old high school classmate) who's gained weight over the years, you see a lot of pity complements, even though that deep down, those people giving the compliments are probably laughing.

On the other hand, those who have blossomed and look 10X better than they did rarely receive compliments.

Why is that?

It really doesn't make sense.

Most probably a make-believe act to boost one's ego.
To those who are better-looking than their critics, rarely receive compliments because of jealousy.
These critics are obviously counting the blessings of their counterparts in silence ..... !

Never let the behaviour of such people betray your inner peace.
