Will Iever find a girl who will love ke? - -_- - 03-18-2014 07:50 AM

Hello All and Happy New Year!!!

I wanted to get some advice from y'all on this issue. Recently, I have been very uneasy about what the future has in store for me in terms of my love life. I recently graduated college as a chemical engineer 2 weeks ago; and I got a great job, and off to a great start in my new chapter in the "real world". Over the course of my time in college, I dated 2 girls both of whom turned out to be incredibly selfish, demanding, and ended up cheating on me. So, I gave up on finding a girl and resorted to a long period of one night stands. I have never felt as though I needed a girl in my life this far, until today. I logged into my Facebook profile to see messages from 4 people I knew from high school, inviting me to their wedding. And now I sit here and wonder, will I ever find "the one"? Is that just some fake **** that only exists on TV/movies? I just can't take another unfaithful person in my life. I would much rather die alone than to get crushed like that. Perhaps I am overreacting since I am just 22, but as I see it - life goes by super fast. Next thing I will do it wake up to be 30, 40, 50, and so on. I'd like to come home to someone, go out and have fun with someone, do crazy things like road trips or travel abroad with someone. Perhaps, just be someone else's better half. I think I am set career wise, but love wise... well, my future looks shot. Any ideas on how to deal with this?

I would really like someone like you Smile
Patience and time is the secret. Forget about "the one" (trust me, it comes when it's forgotten) and when time is right. I had a friend who felt the same way as you. He was single for 3 years, now Love has found him again. He didn't look for it, didn't wait, doesn't talk about it. Than "boom" it comes when he least expected it. Live life for a while , be happy. At the end it's worth it.
