Not sure, but change your name in the meantime! This way they won't be able to find you even if they did a search.

Yes or one of your co workers may stumble upon your page and rat you out. I recomment not having one if you want to keep your job because it is a fact that people have lost their jobs because of a myspace or facebook page.

They do - I was not a victim of it, but at my previous job, part of the screening process involved looking for the college recruit's pages. We found some silly things, but nothing that deterred us from hiring the top candidates that we had narrowed it down to...but they definitely look!!! Not a myth.

of course they can. myspace and facebook pages are available to everyone. so make yours private or friends-only so only people you approve can look at the page!

anything you post on those sites is public and anyone is allowed to look at it. Why would employers be any different from anyone else?
