My friend had a dream about how she was on the phone with her ex and her ex was yelling at her about something she had on her instagram page like on her bio . And he was sounded really pissed on the phone. And also she woke up screaming like.it was a nightmare And how he called her while she was at the store. What could this mean

A lot of the time, people dream about things that have dominated their thoughts (or at least played a large part of their thoughts). Perhaps your friend was simply thinking about her ex before she slept, and as a result the ex was in her dream.

Yeah, people try to read to much into their dreams.
They should move on with their daily lives.
