I just want to know how I can edit my FB so people who aren't friends with me can't see my the things I've posted or my past profile pictures. It's currently at the setting where people who aren't friends with me can only see my pictures, whether it be profile pictures, cover photos, or albums I've posted. (I'm not even sure how it got to that stage).

go to settings and then privacy and then put the option where only your friends can see your profile

the button next to the gear is the privacy button. If u press it, there'll be a dropdown menu, the first option 'who can see my stuf' lets you change who can see your entire profile

Go to account privacy setting and then choose, allow only you.

as for the timeline cover. there no way to hide and keep the cover on private because facebook team made that kind of designed to share the users covers out public . but as for rest of you had posts and share with your fb walls you can go open your timeline profile and go to the privacy settings and you go click on edit button then you want to choose one of the choices that you want change and whatever you wanted to put on private or keep it yourself only you only can view the photos you want to make sure you change it to only me and scroll down til you see save .click that then nobody cant see or view any of your pictures . but if you want only your friends and family to able view your posts and pictures, you need to change it to only my close friends or friends then click on save. there the people who already your friends on your timeline are only people can view whatever you want to share. but if there new people that not your real friends is making trouble with you . anytime you need to remove them and only accept the people you really can trust and know very well not adding a strangers . because strangers can be a stalker, no good person can hack your account. and steal your personality things . strangers cant see anything else on your profile without if you added them as facebook friends first.
