Is there any way to disable the Facebook iPod Touch app from a computer? - festafoo - 03-20-2014 06:48 AM

My iPod Touch was recently stolen and I just found out that the person who stole it is using the Facebook app to post inappropriate messages on my profile. Is there any way to disable the app without having my iPod?

Sorry, but the only way to be able to stop them from logging in to your facebook account is to change your user information so it is no longer valid. Luckily you cannot do this from the app itself, it has to be done from the website.

Well if you have the 'Find My iPhone' app installed on your iPod (which I really hope you do) I can help you out.
If you do have it installed, go on another iPod/iPhone or iPad and install 'Find My iPhone' on it and log in. Then click refresh and it will search for your iPod Touch. This will come up with a google maps satellite picture of where your iPod is. Then just tap on the iPod and you can select 'remote lock' where it will ask you to set a passcode. This means your iPod will lock and the person who stole it will not be able to use it without the passcode.
Hope I helped you out

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot. If you don;t have tis app installed there is a very easy way to stop this.
Just go onto Facebook on your computer and change your password. You can do this by logging in, then click on 'account' int he top right, then click account settings. From here you can change your password and this person will not be able to access your Facebook any more Big Grin
