Does Facebook ever ask for Government ID? - Hannah - 03-20-2014 11:22 AM

Just wondering because my friend has just joined facebook and she needs her phone number to verify her account and does Facebook ever ask for Government ID? I live out of America. She was talking to my boyfriend last night
this is annoying me and she is telling him we are going out just so that these lesbians would leave us alone and that we are getting married next month and he is invited

Asking phone number is normal. But government ID? no they don't... but only if your account get locked, they ask for a passport copy or some photo that identified by the government of the country you live, to verify the account.
