New facebook timeline view? Disable? - Jazzy Poo - 03-20-2014 11:27 AM

So I enabled the new Facebook timeline view but I didn't know that there was the Developer App that you were supposed to create an app and all that stuff. I just did it from my profile page because they were advertising it. I don't like the timeline view because for one I cannot get to my pictures, two it shows to much and is so confusing.

I just created the app and what not just so I could delete it and maybe it would go back to normal but no luck. Is there any way to get it to go back? I am very dissatisfied with the new look.

Also how can I get to my pictures now. The app that is on the homepage takes me to everybody elses pictures but mine.

Help before I go insane!

It doesnt matter, facebook is making it official that everyone has to use this timeline on dec. 26th.

The Timeline is for everyone on facebook now, not just developers. It was like that from October up until a few days ago. You cannot switch back from the timeline once you switch, and all profiles will be switched over to the timeline on December 27th.

Your pictures should still be accessible. I've had no issues seeing my own.

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement about the deployment of the upgrade in any of its official pages, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size are never optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
