I understand you can set up a Facebook page, and use it like a website, more or less. What I am asking is: Can you set up Paypal links for purchasing items directly from a Facebook page (without an actual company website domain or website)? As in, can you have a functioning online shop based on a Facebook page?

there are some applications you can add to your facebook.. i came across one today trying to set up facebook for my band it was a MERCH app but the reviews said it was horrible to work with so I didnt try it out hah
anyway search the applications im sure there is one out there

Facebook yet to have a ecommerce set up (if they say they want to compete with google its possible), I would have to say it probably could be done. http://www.facebook.com/threadless threadless has items from their facebook page go to their cart system. Haven't seen a paypal commerce like that set up yet.
