I plan to create a petition on Facebook to protest against the Timeline. Simply because it means that our past which might include things that we wish to put behind us would be reignited and also others would be able to dig into our past activities easily, hence the compromise of our privacy.
Hopefully, I can gather as much as support as I could in order to eventually convince Facebook to revert the layout back to what it is.
But, can anyone teach me how to create a petition there?

a petition isnt going to do any good
your privacy hasnt been violated, because you posted those things yourself on purpose
if you have things in your timeline that you want to put behind you, then delete them

I absolutely agree with you. I mean, it'll be really easy for stalkers to just dig into your past posts. They should give us the option to decide between the old profile and the timeline. I support you, thing is I don't how to create one.
