Why do some people leave their FB friend requests just sitting there? - A - 03-22-2014 10:42 PM

Curious cuz I used to like this guy I know so I added him as a friend on FB. I thought he had rejected it so I let it go. Now (four years later) I decided to search him out of the blue and saw that he apparently still have my request and is active on FB.

Also, random question, is it possible to revert back to the old FB profile/not the Timeline?

Thanks. Smile

some people leave friend requests sitting there because they do not know whether to accept or ignore the requests. after a while, people forget about them. If you really want him to add you, try cancelling the request and re-adding him. That way, it will come up with a notification sign again.
And no, there isn't a way to go back to the old facebook.

Well even if he ignores your request Facebook would show the request as awaiting confirmation i.e Like it's still pending
One of its privacy policies I guess

And NO, It is not possible to revert back to the old FB Profile

Hope I helped
