One of my friends on facebook (I ACTUALLY KNOW), has 3500 friends. How does she get that much, that's like 2 high school populations combined. I only have 310 btw. (and yes I know all of them 50% are family.) I would ask her, but I'm embarrassed.

Simple. You just add every person you see on the site. You don't need to prove a personal relationship with someone to add them as a friend on Facebook.

She has 3500 "friends" on her Facebook account. She doesn't have 3500 friends.
