How do I hide my recent activities from my friends' news feed? - Charlie - 03-23-2014 05:06 AM

So, I'm getting kinda annoyed that each time I like something, it always has to show up in other people's news feed. What I like is my own business, but Facebook makes it seem like there's a megaphone following me and yelling out all the things I do to everybody in the world. Is there a way that I can hide whatever I do (for example, like a picture, post a profile picture, etc.) from appearing on their news feed? Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a way to make it so only "you" see it, or you can personalize it.

Everything That you Do Gets Posted to your News Feed you Cant Stop That the Only Thing you Can Do is if There Is Specific People Who you Dont Want to See What you Do Go to your News Feed Add Them to the Restricted List and Those Few People Wont See What you Do on There News Feed

the whole point of using facebook is to share your activities with your friends, so if you dont want that to happen, you shouldnt be using facebook in the first place

but if for some reason you want to hide that activity from someone, all you have to do is add that person to your restricted list

there is no other way to do it
