I used my real name on twitter for a long while but for about a year now I've had an alias. I've built up quite a few followers so I don't want to private my tweets but when I search my name in google the profile still comes up, even though my name is nowhere on there. How do I fix this?

Those search result's will deleted slowly so wait for some time then check. If still those Search results displaying then you can request Google to Remove from their CACHE.
