Does watermarking your photographs protect it from Facebook using it? - waggy235 - 03-23-2014 03:44 PM I'm starting a small business and want to set up a Facebook page for my business. I'm a photographer so the page will have my work in galleries on it. But I want to know if I put a watermark or a copyright logo on the image somewhere if it will protect it from Facebook's policy of anything uploaded to the site becoming owned by them. I have seen other people do this and would like to know if it actually does make a difference at all. Thanks - kyle - 03-23-2014 03:46 PM no this does not make a difference. by uploading a photo to facebook you agree to their terms on the upload it does not matter if you have a watermark on the picture. - Angeleyes - 03-23-2014 03:54 PM No, it won't make any difference. |
