I was dating someone for about six months. Than we broke up. I don't want to get too into detail on the situation. But we ha ve been broken up for about a month now, and she saw that I have been talking to this other female on a social media site. She messages me asking if she is my girl friend, and of course I told her no because this female is married and has a daughter and we are just friends. Well, than I posted on this site that I got a new job and I was excited so I put down the hours I would be working so my friends could come visit me. Well I get a text from my ex and she tells me to say hi to her. Which means she thinks I wasn't work, but that I was actually with that other female. Why does she act like this? Why does she insist I am with another female?

She has feelings for you yet, but is not sure what those feelings are so is throwing out crap...insults, accusations, etc. to get your attention and see how you will react. Tell her to knock it off if you do not want to get back together with her.

She is jealous of you having a relationship. She is not over you. If you are over her, tell her to mind her own business.
