hello, now and then when i get online on facebook, something sends a chat to one of my friends

Looks like you got a virus. Scan your computer with your anti-virus. If you don't have one, what the hell are you thinking?

In short, it's called the Koobface worm and is a fairly easy-to-remove virus, but is very irritating because of how it spreads itself - via these advertisement scams. DO NOT click on the links, don't download ANYTHING from those applications, and WARN YOUR FRIENDS!
