If I delete my twitter will my tweets stop appearing on google? - Fearlessflock878 - 03-24-2014 10:09 AM

recently i thought it would be fun to google my name and see what came up. turns out, everything from my facebook, twitter to old social networking accounts, or at least some of it, had appeared on google. Obviously, i thought this was a terrible thing as someone could stalk me- for example knowing my first name>google>my twitter tweets>my facebook likes, comments etc. So I was wondering, if i delete my twitter account would those tweets appearing on google disappear?
i also thought about deleting the tweets that aren't neccessary to exist. but that would take time...and would they disappear off google if i deleted the tweets instead of my entire account???

thank you for your help.

ps. is there any other way to stop google from posting my tweets apart from deleting my account and/or tweets? like a privacy thing or something?

Yes.

Google results will be deleted. I can confirm that. However I cannot confirm that it will be right away, because Google will have to "unindex" it.
