What kind of Facebook page to create for this? - .me. - 03-24-2014 10:13 AM
I am going to try and start networking my photography, starting a "business", and I have been told several times that starting a Facebook page is a very good idea. But there are pesonal pages and group pages, I guess? (I know nothing about Facebook, have never had a page).
The page would not really be under MY name, I guess, but under a company name, and I would showcase photos in different folders.
So which is usually better for what I am trying to achieve? Or is there even a huge difference

A page is practically free to anyone to join and take a look at. You mostly have to like the page to look at the content. A group is more private, normally between a small bunch of people, and you have to request to join the group. A page is the best option: Heres how to get started

First off facebook has been cracking down on the businesses who use personal pages and deleting them. You need to have a personal account though to create a business page. you can invite people to your business page if you are the admin. Also through business pages you can add widgets and apps to make the page run more smoothly.
If you need help you can also hire a social media manager as well.
