i made a facebook page and when i go to it on my account there is nothing that i can do to delete it

Go to the page and hit ctrl+W it'll bring up facebook options.

press the [x] as in remove.

Facebook doesn't allow you to delete your Facebook account once you've created it. The best you can do is remove as much of the information as possible by editing your account, then 'deactivate' it.
Facebook has been in the news often lately with privacy leak issues. There are a number of non-obvious ways in which user information can leak, despite your privacy settings.
