If I want to become an actress should I get a Facebook? - Penelope - 10-15-2012 07:57 PM Will Facebook be of use to me in the entertainment/networking world? I've always been opposed to Facebook because it seems like a way to market yourself online. Besides that, if I really want to keep in touch with someone I do it without a Facebook. However, marketing yourself, being seen, connected, and putting yourself out there is a lot of what it takes to make it in the entertainment business. Do you think Facebook would be of use for these things ? Oh my god, spare me! Of course "everyone wants to be a star but few make it". Come on, like I haven't heard that before Miss Wise Words of Wisdom. That REALLY wasn't what I was asking. And hey, I wouldn't assume that everyone who is interested in acting wants to "be a star". There are many successful actors in the world who aren't household names or "stars". Nonetheless, your answer was nice and helpful, and I thank you for it kindly. - Rachel - 10-15-2012 08:06 PM Yes - Tyrone - 10-15-2012 08:06 PM Sure. - Winters - 10-15-2012 08:06 PM You tube is best to market your entertainment possibilities. This is where many stars were discovered. Everyone wants to be a star but few make it. Not because they lack talent but because this World needs ordinary people to amuse and humor the masses one at a time like me. This is my quote. - Lucy B - 10-15-2012 08:06 PM Yes and twitter and youtube and linked in. Social media is a tool you can use to your advantage. |
