You know on facebook if you search someone , your mutual friends are supposed to be there. Why were some of our mutual friends not shown when I viewed a person's facebook page? I know some of my friends ARE also her friends.

Maybe they don't have a Facebook.

You both may have common friends but it is possible that she(your friend) has not added them in her facebook account. What you can do now open her profile and go to her friend list, then search withe the name of those common friends. If they are in her's friend list it will get displayed off there and if not then she has not added them.
