I have paid for mail plus for 3 years now just so I don't have to deal with the annoying advertisements!
I log in today to see an add in a bar right above my list of latest emails. It looks like a facebook type page and say's "You have (1) new message!"
Please tell me this is just a glitch to be fixed and not a change to make Yahoo more money!

Run a spyware scan. Also use a good adblocker.
