What is Facebook using for income? - Kirk - 03-24-2014 10:19 AM

I guess that their is advertising on it, but when I was active, I don't recall seeing any. This Mark Zuckerburg has a net worth of 6.1 billion dollars, but what from?

There are plenty of ads now. Banner ads or three smaller ads on the right side, plus sponsored links, etc.

facebook mostly uses advertisements, but keep in mind most of the best games have a system for paying real money for some sort of advantage. Facebook collects a certain percent of income from games hosted on facebook.

A lot of the value is the estimated worth if facebook were to be sold. People invest in facebook just like the stock market.
