How do you add a recommendation section to a Facebook page for a business? - Tom J - 10-15-2012 07:58 PM

I am really new to Facebook. I am trying to design a Facebook page for a local business owner. I have looked at other people's face book page and I have seen some with a recommendation section. How do I add this to the page I want to create?

Any other advice on Facebook for a business is greatly appreciated.

try launching a "facebook ad campaign". It's seems quite easy.....you are given a budget to work with, target market to select etc

There is a ton of experience-tested printed material on the use of social network platforms for various kinds of small businesses. Give them some handy information they can use, or which will amuse them, and they'll be more likely to come back.
Engage the public.

The rules all boil down to "don't be obnoxious or arrogant." Sounds like common sense, but you'd be surprised; people establish a FB page and then neglect it. I can't help you technically with what to do, but you can tell the owner to stay engaged with the FB page, moderate it and answer comments from the public. It always impresses me when businesses treat me like a person.

Wait til you hit Twitter! :-)

Good luck!
