How do the people get their country back? - Cindy L.G. - 03-24-2014 10:24 AM

Neither side is happy, the media is owned by the same people who own the politicians and is systemically dividing the people into ideologies, colors, sexes and social status. How do the people get big money out of politics so they can get their nation back?
You can write letters, but letters don't have the same sway on politicians as does hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Stop reacting loudly to everything some dooshbag politician says. Just like Hannity saying he was leaving New York, maybe that's what Cuomo wants. That's just an example. This button pushing is non stop and its everywhere.

Eradicate liberalism

If everybody got gay married we would all be happy.

Letters? LOL

The only thing that would work would be a revolution, a full takeover. A new start and a full use of the Constitution.

Move back to england, or ireland

Quit voting for liberals! That would solve a lot of problems.

At present, people who do not identify with any political party far outnumber each of the parties and are well on the way to becoming more numerous than both parties put together. The time for telling the public that they must vote for one of the parties is over. Neither party comes close to representing the people. A wasted kiss of a politician's azz is not a wasted vote.

The people must realize that no matter how much money is pumped into the system, ultimately their one vote combined with the votes of those with shared vision will always win. The big money can try to sway the ignorant, it can misinform and even lie outright, but thoughtful and informed people cannot be swayed by any amount of distraction from facts and truth. I firmly believe that the thoughtful and informed outweigh those who are susceptible to the machinations of the monied. In time, Citizen's United will die an unheralded death, corporate America will revert to screwing individuals in the private sector and lobbying and maybe, if we're lucky, we'll manage to outlaw that nonsense too. I have faith in mankind, all evidence to the contrary.

Well write the letters to politicians... on hundreds of thousands of dollar bills
