how do i get the little notification box in the bottom right corner of the facebook page to update when someone has commented on a picture after me, without having it send me an email?

Normally, it will automatically update itself. The computer might be a little slow. Try refreshing the page.

Well on mine it does it on it's own so i don't have to worry about it... maybe you need to update the page or facebook account

go to settings, then account settings. select the notifications tab. here you can choose what activites notify you and/or send you an e-mail.

it should just do that for you all automatically. Try refreshing the page.

The settings-notifications thing isn't it, and it's been going on for about a month now!

IT DOES automatically update itself. HOWEVER.....sometimes if you are waiting for a picture comment, it helps to refresh the page OR you can leave the page and go to another Facebook page (this will also "Refresh") and as soon as someone leaves a comment about you photo, it will be there!! GOOD LUCK
