If he's with you and has shown you in many ways that YOU are who he wants to be with I wouldn't think twice about it.
You say you saw a twitter post about what you really want isn't the best thing for you. Maybe you're reading too much into this. Perhaps he was saying this to a friend or he was telling his ex that meaning: His ex wants him but he's saying what his ex wants inst what's best for him.
If he's showed no signs of straying or lying or even distrust I wouldn't let it get you down.
You could always have a little chat "non-confrontation" chat about how you are feeling. Its good to let the other person know how you feel and you should be able to express your emotions with them good or bad. Tell him that you are having worries about who "he really wants to be with" and you just need to be reassured that you are the one he wants to be with.
It will all work out for you.

1st off why is he tweeting some1 else wen hes in a relationship wit u, maybe its nuffin serious talk 2him about it it also sounds like ur scared if getting hurt is da guy cheating on u? U havent said dat maybe he has gotten over da ex idk its a shame how da ex seems to always be an issue the ex is an ex 4a reason cant stress dat enuff take him to da table yall need to talk
