Could I take legal action against this person? - Sebastian - 03-24-2014 10:35 AM

Well I am going to turn this into a very condense short version of what happened. I have been talking to this one girl for awhile, we have been kinda dating but she has stopped talking to me sometimes it would be weeks. So I figured that the relationship was over. Well I told her that "I guess it was over so bye" She would never respond. I would then go out and flirt with some girls and and post about them. Well she did not like that and now she has screenshot my profile and says that "She is going to post my profile to everyone she knows." She thinks that I will not make me et a girl again. The only problem I have with this is that I have my profile made super secure. All you are allowed to see of my profile is my name and profile picture. If she posts my private profile, with all of my statuses then could that be an invasion of my privacy?
Also I blocked her on facebook, she took a screenshot before i blocked her, she has pictures of my posts and pictures.

NO ... you have no legal grounds there what so ever

She has you on Facebook ... so you have allowed her to access your account

You do know that once YOU put it out there it is never really secret, right?

Well, as you can see nothing "Private" is ever REALLY private! If she has access to it how private can it be? She's copying something that she has access to. There is no privacy online.

You can sue anyone you want...doesn't mean you will win.

Here's and idea - DEFRIEND HER.

If she took a screenshot before you blocked her, then she's fine, as she had your permission to see the information.

Welcome to the internet, where nothing is actually private when you put it out in public.

OK, so you deleted and blocked her....did you also block all of her friends? Just because she can't see your profile that doesn't mean that others in her little group can't unless you block them too. Here's what you do, deactivate your current profile, create a new email address and start completely over with a new Facebook profile. Make sure in your preferences that people can't see anything on that profile and that they cannot find you with a basic search. Add only those friends from your old profile that you trust but also make your entire friends list only visible to you. You can also make it so only you can see posts to your timeline, that's up to you. This may solve part of the symptom but it may take a call to this girls parents to cure the disease.

you are a womanizer and you post it on the Internet and now you are worried about what others will see or think.... are you for real?

you are obviously a jerk, and she figured that out, she is just re-posting information that you posted yourself....
there is NO legal action to take, she has none nothing illegal.

in the future remember that social media sites are NOT your friend and they all will come back to bite ya' in the as*.
