does facebook detect what you are looking for on the internet? i was recently looking for something about university of southampton and now on my facebook page it's giving me links to friends from university of southampton.

umm... i dunno. i've noticed weird shit like that too. just to be safe, make sure you always log out when you don't need it.

I think it's google analytics that does it, then facebook uses google analytics to put advertisements on your facebook page that could apply to you.
