What can I charge someone who posted nude pictures of me? I'm a minor.? - Mariah De leon - 03-24-2014 10:39 AM

I'm 17, and he's 29. The man is my cousin. Him and his wife are seeking revenge for a false accusation about me. The believe I stole from them. Which is irrelevant. I had left my email open on their computer the day before. My phone backs up my contacts pictures etc to there. And he had saved all my pictures from my email and sent them to my parent my brothers and aunts my uncles, my whole family. His wife made a facebook and a Instagram and started a group to see nude pictures of me. They are spreading my pictures everywhere. Idk what to do. I never sent them to anyone they are for my own purposes. Since I'm a minor can't he get in trouble? His wife too? They also text me and email me threats. Like she's going to beat my ass and calls me names. And sends me pictures of myself that she has. I had to change my number 2 times.

Having child pornography in it of its self is a major felony and must be addressed

Your cousin is a moron...and his bit of revenge will see him and his wife put in prison for thirty plus years, if not life. Those pictures are kiddie porn...you will probably get a slap on the wrist for making and possessing those pix...possibly probation but that should be it (I doubt you will even get that considering has been done to you). He, however, will be charged with viewing, possessing and transmission of kiddy porn and he can't claim you stole (even if you had) as a defence as there is no excuse for kiddy porn, if you are an adult! Also since he was dumb enough to send them to family, they can be traced back to him. As for what his wife did, that is far worse and needs action now!

What you need to do is this...don't discuss this with anyone but your parents...especially that you are going to the cops as they may delete the stuff! Then you need to go with your parents to the police department. Take the photos and the information about the instagram/facebook pages as evidence. And then follow the instructions they give you regarding notifying facebook and instagram to get those pix taken off. It is quite possible that the police may leave those pages up so they can see who viewed those images. And if your parents don't take you to the police...by law, they must as they cannot consent to you being victim of a crime...even if they actually believe you deserve the humiliation (which I pray they don't) as punishment for the pictures...then tell your teacher who has a duty to report cases of child endangerment, which you are, thanks to those pictures.

Lastly, once you turn 18, you can sue your cousin and his wife for every dime they have and ever will have. You may even be able to access their insurance because they committed their felonies in their home. Also, you can sue everyone who saw those pictures and didn't delete them immediately. You will need a good lawyer...and I hope you take everyone to the cleaners over this! I am sorry that this happened to you. I hope that you never make any more pictures like this as you can see how easily they can be transmitted everywhere. Good luck and God bless.

For one, you have created child porn, so if you complain, the police will most likely arrest both of you. ProTip: don't take nude pics of yourself, especially if you are underage.
