Need at least 4 points on why traditional forms of marketing is not dead yet

I'm picking you mean promotion when you refer to marketing here.
So they are dead.
Ok, but they are mostly dead.
Ok, lemme see...

Advertising is definitely dead. People are sick of ads and the research backs it up. See link to "the boat sinks" below.

Word-of-mouth is alive and kicking. Nowadays it's called viral marketing and social media - but it is the same thing. It is word-of-mouth and more trustworthy. See second link - who do consumers trust? Research there too to back up your story.

So trust is an issue. Advertising is a fizzer in this dept.
So too is the overload of products. There are too many products on the market so the products that are doing well now are really different - such as Apple iPod. Case study included in third link below.
