How do i hide my posts from appearing on other peoples news feed? (Facebook)? - Sam - 03-24-2014 10:44 AM

How do i hide my posts from appearing on other peoples news feed? I don't like some people but i don't want to offend them by deleting them. I don't mind seeing what they post but i don't want them to see what i post... is this possible? (Facebook) i already have it so a lot of people can message me but i don't see what they post.

Yep, click the icon on your post that shows who it's available to...so it may be a globe icon for example if shared with the public. It'll be next to the date of the post. Click it and then click "Custom" where you can choose who to block the post from. This doesn't work on Cover photos though, which are automatically made public.

you just add those people to your restricted list, then they cant see anything you post anymore, but they can stay on your friends list

the real question is tho, why are they on your friends list in the first place if you dont want them seeing your activity? after all, that's the whole point of facebook... to share your activity with your friends

RESTRICTED list is the best solution for you.
