Does the social media cause more harm than good? - Augustine - 03-24-2014 10:47 AM

I think it is safe to say that with the social media introduced, the lifestyle of everyone using it has changed DRASTICALLY, yes, it connects us together and all but does it really bring that much positive results?
I feel as if the social media has made humanity more and more less concerned with other matters.
Social media platforms like twitter has made a new generation of people glued to their phones.
I am not AGAINST social media, I am just concerned, I dislike looking at parents in public more glued to their Facebook status than on their child. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for answering!

yeah, it made it harder to keep secrets or hide your true self from people.

And you are very acute in noting that nobody is glued to their TV or land-line phone anymore.
