I've tried DevitantArt.com but it's giving me problems. I've also heard you can sell art and photographs on instagram, but i don't know how. Can someone help me?

The words "art" and "instagram" do not belong in the same sentence. Plus, the great majority of people who use Instagram are lucky to be able to buy bubble gum, or Justin Beiber tickets.
Selling photographs is not a quick and easy path to money as too many people seem to think, but if you want to try, a better start than those goofy sites you listed would be Fine Art America.
