The Facebook App on the iPhone says Installed but isn't? - Matt - 03-24-2014 10:53 AM
When the new update came out for the facebook application, I updated it and when i would click on the app it wouldn't open. I deleted it and then restarted my iphone, then went to install it again at the app store and it says its installed. Can someone please help me with this! It would be greatly appreciated

The same thing just happened to me! Living a day without my facebook app was terrible. This is what I did:
Connect iPhone to computer. Open iTunes. Click "applications." You'll see that the facebook app is still there.
Delete the app (right click, delete, move to recycle bin)
the SYNC the phone with the computer - this deletes the facebook files that may still be on your phone.
once it syncs, disconnect, go in the app store, and redownload
that should work - it worked for me, literally 3 minutes ago
