I have had a twitter for a while, but I just started really using it often. Anyway, I'm confused about a few things. The whole thing where you put "#" Before something and you can click on it and a bunch of tweets come up of people who have put the same thing. And trending topics? What's that? Or does that have nothing to do with twitter...? People have mentioned it so I wasn't sure. I WAS confused about RTing, but I figured it out. Anything else I should know? Also how can I get more followers?

Follow people that is going to follow you back. Just do this, it is very straight forward:
1 - Follow @TeamAutoFollow - To get you in the list (see next)
2 - Follow the team - (see the list at http://teamautofollow.com/ – follow as many as you would like, we all follow back)
For extra followers:
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your post (as often as possible)
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your Bio (You can do this at the end of it, people are more prompt to follow when they know that you will follow back)
- RT and follow @TeamAutoFollow Tweets (a little help once in awhile is appreciated)
- Comeback everyday for a #ShoutOut
