If someone blocks me from seeing their timeline posts from other people, can I still see my own posts? - mnm - 03-24-2014 10:54 AM

A guy I am friends with on FB, I think he has blocked me (and maybe other people not just me) from seeing other people who post to his timeline. I can still see when he posts to his timeline, but there are no posts from other people visible to me on his timeline. I just posted to his timeline and I can see what I wrote, is that how it works even if the person has blocked people from seeing the posts from other people? Will I still be able to see anything I post on his wall?

He cannot simply block other people from seeing what gets posted on his wall by others; however, when someone posts to his wall, the person posting can set who exactly can see it. No matter what happens or how you set it, you can always see your own posts.

He can set who see's what on his time line.
Under>Timeline and Tagging Settings
You can have friends, close friends, friends of friends, family, friends except acquaintances, only me...or custom settings.

But you can always see what you post.

yes, that's how it works - that's how i have my settings set to as well... anyone can start a new post on my timeline, but only me and that person can see it and all of the comments we make to each other (unless I specifically tag one of my friends in it, then they can see it too)

you can find that setting here
