if you like a facebook page? - Rose78 - 03-24-2014 11:01 AM

If you press like on a facebook page can the ones that have that page get into your fb page and look inside freely?

They can look into your profile similarly to how any stranger can look into it. Clicking like makes no difference to your privacy.

I have a like page on fb and when somebody likes my page i can only view what they let public see that arent their friends. And i also cant comment like or message them. Just cause you like a page does not mean they have the same views to your profile as your friends. If you have everything private then the page can not view anything

I believe they may have limited access to your timeline. You need to check your privacy settings and your applications as to what you allow people to access.

Every now and then it pays to close your applications down. That is all the games and quizzes people play etc. As these have full rights to access all your friends timelines as well as your own. Many of them are able to email your mates with what you are doing or they send spam out to capture increases in sales.

Beware of how you use your facebook pages. They can also be accessed by certain organisations when hunting for information about appilcants for jobs. An online presence can be a good thing but it can also go against you.
