You get more followers by pandering more and more to the lowest common denominator. Sorry but I can't follow you since I don't do what the twits do and twit all day.

ok i followed you,, and to change profile picture you go to the top of the page you will see like a circle thingy to the right of the envelope... click on that and scroll to edit profile and you will see a button that says change profile (first) and then change header (second) .. hope i helped

1. IF you have a facebook, ask your friends to follow you
2. Take pictures to show you go on recent
3. Share funny text messages of yours
4. Post tweets well and often
5. Follow other people
6. Ask tweeters to retweet you
7. Use #hashtags
8. Repeat popular tweets of yours, that way more people will see it, like it and retweet it
9. Follow people who autofollow
10. Every once in a while, on other websites that you have accounts to, post randomly to follow you on twitter(minus youtube, people can be viscous in there!)
And sorry I don't have a twitter, those were just my best suggestions
