I think many people do.
I do. I rarely post much and I don't live off likes like some (the minority) do.
But I do enjoy getting likes yes!

Apparently girls must. When I had an account, this girl uploaded a photo for her profile pic and it got over 100 likes....naturally the majority of likes coming from other girls.
If I upload a new profile pic, I'd be lucky if I even get a comment.
