i have accepted someone's friend request by mistake on facebook and now i want to remove him as my friend or if not is it possible that he is not able to see my updates.

Login to Facebook.com.
Click the Friends button at the top of the page.
Beside each friend you will see a remove friend button to the right.
Simply click remove friend and you will see a conformation pop up asking if you’re sure.
Click remove friend

Under their profile at the left and down, you'll see in blue lettering "remove from friends"

Click All friends,then next to the name you want is an X button click that
