I'm planning to leave the country im living in in some 5 months time. I have branded clothes of good condition, which i will not be needing. I counted 85 items in all.. so even if i had to get, say, 1 euro for each thing, it would be some money. but since most clothes were bought at an expensive price initially, im thinking of raising the prices.
and as i said, im planning to deal with friends i.e. girls who im close to. so i simply wouldn't be able to lie to their faces following the principles of marketing.
then i have acquaintances which i could invite over for a drink and try and sell my stuff to. but does it work that way?
is it best to invite people one by one or in a group?
ANY advices/that will help me get as much money as possible.
ps. there isn't a second hand shop anywhere round where i live

Try the approach of telling them the prices originally and then asking half for the item. Be sure to tell them you are flexible if they give a lot of push-back on that price and ask them what they think a fair price for the item is... My guess is no one will only offer 1 Euro.
Group or individual will work... you may even try CraigsList.

E-Bay sounds like the best place for selling your items to be honest. Alternatively, if you want to (for whatever reason) only sell it to your friends, have a party (Make a Facebook event) to celebrate your moving on, and have a sale, or maybe even make it an auction. If you make it clear ('market' it as such) it's to help you with your move, your friends are more likely to be inclined to help you.
