I cannot for the life of me figure out how to send a message/email to my friend FROM FACEBOOK itself.
He is not on facebook. And I don't use my old email address (only my facebook). I even forgot my old email pw, no need to use two addresses, anyway (facebook is enough).

there is no way to do that - you would have to use a normal email account
you are logged into an email account right now, it's a yahoo one - just use that
