Vocus vs. Sprout Social, which solution is better? - Magneto - 03-24-2014 11:14 AM

They are both social media monitoring solutions. But which one helps company to increase more traffic and generate better search results on Google and Yahoo?

Hey there! If your end goal is to increase site traffic and generate better results on search engines, I think your social media strategy (e.g. providing compelling content, engaging with other users, etc.) is going to be a bigger driving force than any social media monitoring tool.

Assuming that's in place, Vocus seems like it's more PR-focused, while Sprout Social is more engagement and analytics-focused. If you're more so looking for a solution that will help you stay organized, easily see all mentions and conversation histories, and schedule posts to multiple networks, then it seems like Sprout would be a good fit. Have you tested both of the solutions out yet to see which one works best with your workflow and what you're looking to do?
