My mom has a facebook account that is private but someone keeps making accounts of my mom with her name etc, we believe its probably someone she knows as they like pages that relate to us, my mum uses this account to talk to family abroad. This person has made many fake accounts and all have been reported and taken down but they keep on coming. We rang facebook customer service they took down the account but it came back again. What do i do? Contact police?

People are very smart if the police find out he or she can just say that they wasn't copying your mum and Infact his friend has the same name and he was making a Facebook for her
It's not really a big crime so just ignore it

That is harassment. Illegal with a long prison sentence possible. keep evidence of each account and go to the police.

just report the fake accounts to facebook - they will be removed
