How do I make money with Private Label Rights? - Adel - 03-24-2014 11:28 AM

I have been seeing a lot of tweets on Twitter about PLR and using it to make money. Could this be some kind of a scam? It's my understanding that sometimes books will lose their copyright after so many years and they become PLR.

PLR is intended for adding value to existing copyrights by providing a framework for content creators to distribute commissioned works in different shapes and sizes. Lawyers have been doing this for a long time as a custom "non-exclusive license" of the various rights to clients.

Books, like anything else, eventually lose their copyrights, often 95 years after publication (in the USA) or 70 years after the death of the last surviving author.

If there is no copyright, the PLR license is pointless, since anyone can use the work any way they like.
